SummaryAdd a Summary
Family friends invite Claire and her sister to accompany them to Seattle on a business trip, which Claire is really stoked about. When they arrive, they meet friends of the family friends, who have 2 kids, Tony and Nora. For some reason, Claire is convinced that Tony Russo is a vampire. After an embarrassing incident at an Old Navy, Claire meets another guy, who is kind of creepy, and ends up following her throughout the book, but isn't part of the plot. She and Tony start to date, but things are really weird for some reason, and Claire gets the sense that Tony isn't telling her something. In the end, there is a typical, predictable ending, in which Tony serenades her from below the window, revealing that he is the lead singer of the hit band, "Northanger Alibi," going by the stage name of "Jackson Russolini." Apparently, in his haste to sing, he forgets that he is a world famous pop star, and of course gets discovered. Then, his Dad boots Claire out of town, where she and her sister go back to Farmington NM, until apparently, it is decided that Tony should leave Seattle, because everyone recognizes him, and choose a small town to live in. So, without even a whisper of decision, regret, or hesitation, Tony moves to Farmington, which finishes the book.
