very creative and artful
reminds us that there are no mistakes in art
I'm an adult, and I'm also an artist, and I absolutely love this book. One of the best professors I ever had stressed the idea of never throwing away a piece or starting over because you don't like the way it looks. Even if it turns out to be a completely mess, it can be a beautiful mess. Everything she said is in this book explained in a way that all ages can understand and appreciate. It helps that the artwork is beautiful.
