Cute play on the familiar nursery rhyme. The meter is close enough that you can sing the story, and there's a hint of a plot as Black Sheep slowly runs out of wool.
My kids (ages 1.5 and 3.5) really enjoyed this book.

Poor Black Sheep ends up shivering and cold (and a little embarrassed to be naked) until Miss lends her a hat, a scarf, a sweater, and some socks that she'd made from the many bags full of wool Black Sheep had lent her over the season. Sweet and funny story about sharing, based on the classic nursery rhyme. Toddlers will enjoy the pictures and rhymes, and older preschoolers will appreciate the joke.

One of our favourite rhymes by one of our favourite illustrators! What's not to love?
