This readable, non-technical book surveys bridges through history from ancient to contemporary times. It is well illustrated with photographs and drawings which are complimented with brief text and captions. This compilation includes the Pattullo, Alex Fraser and Centennial Line Bridges of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The book has an index but lacks a bibliography.
