This enjoyable "Complete Peanuts" treasury (of over 300 pages) covers Charles M. Schulz's beloved comic-strip from its earlier years (1953-1954).

If you are a fan of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and all the rest of the Peanuts Gang - Then - You are sure to be delighted by the contents of this book.

*Note* - On February 12, 2000 - Charles Schulz (78 at the time) died from cancer of the colon.

An early collection from the 1950s, this has the gang's quirks and personalities getting more fleshed out- including Snoopy starting to think for himself and hints of Charlie Brown's misfortunes at baseball. It's odd to see characters who ended up becoming little seen- or disappeared altogether.
