While the timeline of the movie's protagonists has not proven accurate (major water wars have not YET broken out), I believe their diagnosis and prognosis will, ultimately prove true: many countries have serious water problems, and these will only get worse. The profit-making companies (especially Nestle) have a great deal to answer for, and the corrupt governments who happily accept bribes from these companies deserve jail time.

This eye-opening documentary is an important contribution to the vital discussion on the important issue of water security and the global water crisis.

It would be so wonderful if this documentary was not true. However, as we watched it I kept searching on the internet to substantiate the facts. Shockingly it is accurate.

This is a must watch video for all of us who think Canadians own their own water and that it won't be messed about with in the future. Huge water cartels have gained experience around the globe and are now moving into the North American scene. This is something we need to be vigilant about with our MPs and MLAs.

Water is the most valued resource on this planet and becoming increasingly scarce. This documentary was such an eye opener about water, its international and local context and the price that corporations are willing to pay to control it.
