Great recipe ideas for the slow cooker.

I'm an avid Canadian Living recipe fan and this book was as good as I have expected. Tried about 6 recipes and decided I had to buy it for my collection. Unlike my other slow cooker book, this book has renewed my faith that slow cooker dishes can have sophisticated taste and be more than a can of soup poured over a roast. The pulled pork was amazing but so were all the chicken recipes I tried.

I really liked how this book was organized. Fantastic pictures of many of the recipes. I made the Short Ribs with Mushrooms & Red wine on page 160 and they were fantastic. I substituted the beef ribs with pork.
