Adding a border to your project can be tricky if it is for a fabric hanky or a tablecloth for instance. This book will probably have an answer for it. I recently used it for the inside corner of a too-low V-neck T-shirt. You have to think a bit about it, as the patterns are for outside corners, but the book definitely helped me figure out what to do.
