People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates - sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It's an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don't exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.

Just two stars. It's not Bruce Willis's fault. Unless you think he should have given this one a pass. Maybe he should have. Who knows why stars make bad movies? Only thing he was offered at the time? Needed the dough? Thought the script had potential?

He's made other lower-budget sci fi movies--notably Loopers--and they worked far, far better than this one. If you know something of how movies are made--and how they go wrong after the script's written--then, yeah, you don't blame Bruce.

Not really worth your time. Just one--one!--really good scene in the whole film and it lasts maybe 30 seconds. I kid you not.

NOt a bad idea--as sci fi ideas go--but oh, the execution. Bad word, I know. Sounds like someone needed to be put against the wall and... And maybe more than ONE person, at that.

But not Bruce.

Would have better spent my time watching a rerun of the Jetsons....

It's unsafe for people to go outside. Better to just stay inside and puppet a robot who likes like whatever you want to look like to other people - you can be as gorgeous as you want, or you can choose to still look like yourself. But when one person decides to start questioning this life choice and live outside of his robot, even starts investigating the person who started it all and exposing everything horrible about the whole operation, things really start to get interesting.

An interesting "I, Robot" meets "Matrix" sci-fi story with a little "Total Recall" premise thrown in. The scripted dialogue is pretty weak and almost comical in some places, however the overall story and themes are compelling. It delves quickly into some of the ideas only to plunge back into the action and intrigue leaving behind any hope of being a good psychological sci-fi story.

Very surprised by this movie. Interesting premise. Script is nothing great but overall a worthwhile action movie.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

Interesting premise as told in the beginning of the film. It got better as a youthful Bruce Willis clone played a FBI agent began to investigate "a set" of murders outside a club. Movie was under 90 minutes long but packed with information and action. There is no time to be a critic but to be taken for a weird exciting ride.

Very well done
Commentary on the "younger is better" American mentality of "beauty" / efficiency, love..

A man finds that he wants reality, not the fake robot he uses, and his wife uses to relate to each other. He is trying to solve a murder, finds a special weapon that destroys the robots and the human... gets involved in trying to "save the world" from the man who created the robots and the weapon to destroy everything, to start over..
Classic "madman" vs "good jo".

A bit lacking at points in scenery, acting, dialouge, sets, and exceeds expectations in many other scenes, acting and sets... camera work

Worth watching
Sci fi
Love story
Potential real possibilities
