Book 3 of the Dark Sword series, preceded by Forbidden Highlander and followed by Untamed Highlander. Sexy story of Quinn, the youngest of the MacLeod brother who is captured by Deidre and thrown into the "pit" in order to be broken and Marcail, a druid who holds in her mind the "binding spell". In this story we meet the future characters of the Dark Sword series, as well as Dark Warriors series like: Galen, Arran, Duncan, Ian, Broc, Camdyn, Malcolm, Charron, Ramsey and Phelan.

The third novel in this series I have read. I have yet to be disappointed. I really thought this would be the end as it tied up many of the main characters but I was tickled to see there is more to come. Excellent mixture of fantasy, romance, intrigue and humour. Passion abounds in this story not only in love but in family and friends.
