Kill the Messengers

Stephen Harper's Assault on Your Right to Know

There is an election under way. This is a good time to read this book. The author raises many serious concerns about the Harper approach to government. We need to see if any other contenders will commit to undoing the changes Harper has wrought. This is an important book, I just wish that a better writer had written it, or a stronger editor had gone over it. The subject matter jumps about. There is a lack of organization and structure to the presentation that gets annoying. Readers should persist and struggle through through those problems.
