Rather unexpected way that the story unfolded. Did feel sorry for the countryman that had to show up in England with Abdul. Seems that both men relied on favour or not to stay in England. Funny to see even in Victoria's time (she who led the massive cutlery for every food endeavour) that when she finished a course, it meant the end of the course for all the guests. Must have been a tremendous social and financial burden for guests to show up dressed to the nines and be early then to race to eat yet still keep up their part in the table conversations. What a tedious society!
