This is a memoir from an incredible African woman who won the Nobel Prize for her environmental and human rights work in Kenya. Wangari Maathai is an incredibly brave, forward thinking woman who dedicated her life to The Green Belt Movement in Kenya. There is much to be admired in her story a great deal to learn as well. This was interesting and highly readable. Recommended to those who enjoy reading about inspiring lives.
