I have a great appreciation for almost all of J.A. Jance's work, but I've been reading about Beaumont since there really was a Dog House in Seattle, so I'll always give 4 stars for a novel about him. J.P. finds himself getting old but this old dog learns a few new tricks, and in the process gains another member of his family. Lots of old memories are intertwined with Beaau's new job investigating a missing person. Thank you, J.A Jance for keeping Beau working into his 70's.
