A helpful little title that contains a number of suggestions I've subsequently adopted to notable benefit. First, at all times I know my major priorities (and the fewer, the better). Second, on a daily basis I know what my three primary goals of the day are. They can be small (print that out and begin reading it) or large (finish the analysis and send to executives), but they're always near and always achievable. Finally, I 'single-task'. I've seen how scatter-brained professionals can be. Okay...I've been unproductively scatter-brained myself on the job. One thing at a time. Do it and do it well. A useful reminder that there aren't short cuts and that the only answer is to use your time wisely.
