Agree with graybear1's comments except that Hart was the one who repeatedly committed infidelity during his POTUS candidacy run and mishandled the Q&A on adultery/immorality with the press. The film came across more about the changing role of journalism than the candidate, i.e. the departure in focusing on a candidate's issues/policies to private affairs (sexual scandals in this case). Expected more with the A-list actors, perhaps we all knew how the story ended. Notes: *** Based on the 2014 book "All the Truth Is Out: The Week Politics Went Tabloid" by Matt Bai. *** An interesting 1987 article on Hart and Donna Rice: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/1987/09/gary-hart-failed-presidential-campaign
