I was torn with this film, as I had hoped it would be up to the quality of the first one, Kingsmen: The Secret Service (2014), however found it to have gone too far with it's fantasy, and lost some of it's credibility for me. However, many times when I had almost given up of it being as good as the first one, the story line would change and make me change my mind again. Ultimately, Julianne Moore "madd genius," did not work for me, nor did some of the other incredible, but just as unbelievable parts of the film. I still liked this film and think it is as well done as any other good action movie, but just not as good as the previous one. Fine performances by Taron Egerton (Eggsy), Colin Firth (Harry), Hanna Alstrom (Princess Tilde), Channing Tatum (Tequila), Pedro Pascal (Whisky), Mark Strong (Merlin) and the underplayed Halle Berry (Ginger). Julianne Moore (Poppy) is a good actress, but just thought that this role was played with too much lunacy, and did not suit this film, nor did the Elton John appearance. The 10 minute extra on the DVD, was interesting to see how the 2 week long shooting of the black taxi scene was done.
